Peter Loria, Chef Owner, has been successfully operating restaurants for more than three decades. Having embarked on his culinary career in the kitchen of Bouley and while working closely with esteemed Chef David Bouley, Chef Peter quickly received critical acclaim for his inventive cuisine featuring a superlative focus on the purity of each ingredient.

At Matisse 167, this same focus that marries his trademark artful cuisine with freshly sourced local ingredients has solidified Matisse 167’s reputation as one of the tri-state area’s top culinary dining destinations.

Chef Peter blends his masterful classic French training with modern techniques to craft an ever-changing seasonal Prix Fixe menu. Committed to producing exceptional flavor, he collaborates with the finest local purveyors to source the highest quality ingredients. Closed Monday & Tuesday.
We do not serve lunch or brunch.
Three distinctive dining areas available for private parties and events with advanced booking.
